thefluffingtonpost: Kitten’s Latest Power Ballad Tops UK Charts Move over, Adele. The next great soul singer has arrived, and her name is Daisy. The Persian kitten may only be two months old, but her exciting blend of piano pop, R&B and electronica has taken Europe by storm. Her latest single, “Snuggle Me, Snuggle You,” has reached the top of the UK music charts, and the U.S. release is scheduled to hit iTunes in early June. “Her voice is unstoppable,” says Marc Keller, music critic for Rolling Stone magazine. “Really rich tone, and the control of a seasoned alto. This kitten is going places.” Daisy co-writes most of her songs with a studio team, but the piano riffs and root melodies are all her own. Her management says a U.S. tour is in the works. A few more TV appearances and radio spots should solidify her place in the pop music zeitgeist, according to industry watchers. Submitted by Ben Torode.
